VeryClose is currently available on Android devices and on Web. We're working on iphone and desktop versions that will be available soon.

VeryClose uses military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption for all messages and voice notes. Messages are encrypted on your device before being sent, and only you and your partner have the keys to decrypt them. We use a zero-knowledge architecture, which means we cannot read your messages even if we wanted to.

No. Thanks to end-to-end encryption, your messages are encrypted on your device and can only be decrypted by you and your partner. VeryClose servers only store encrypted data that we cannot read.

Messages are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. Only message metadata (timestamps, sender info) is stored on our servers for syncing purposes, and all content remains encrypted.

One person generates an invite code from within the app and shares it with their partner via text, email, or any messaging platform. The other person enters this code to complete the pairing. It takes less than a minute!

Yes, you can unpair from your partner at any time from the settings menu. This will end the connection and delete the shared conversation data.

You can send text messages and voice notes. Voice messages can be up to 2 minutes long in high-quality M4A format. All messages and voice notes are end-to-end encrypted.
